On June 7th, I received the endorsement of The Observer. Four years ago they supported my opponent. How quickly things can change.
The announcement in Newsday about the Morgan Estate trying to become an agricultural property has very serious consequences for the Village. $220,000 of tax revenues are potentially on the line. Our mayor, distracted by prosecuting residents for cleaning out the tidal wetlands, defending herself in her conflict of interest suit with Huntington and and illegally inspecting residents homes, has once again dropped the ball. We as residents should have learned about this from our mayor, not from Newsday. We need open government.
